Terms of Service
Effective date: July 16, 2026
1. What Campsite Finder is
Campsite Finder ("the Service") is a private, invitation-only tool that aggregates campsite availability published by official state and federal campground reservation systems and can notify you when availability changes. The Service is informational only: it does not take, hold, or guarantee reservations. All bookings happen on the official reservation sites, under their own terms.
The Service is operated privately by its administrator, Reed ("the operator", "we"). By logging in or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
There is no public registration. Accounts are created by the operator, and each account is for one person. You agree to:
- keep your password confidential and not share your account;
- provide a working email address so we can reach you about your account;
- accept responsibility for activity that happens under your login.
The operator may suspend or deactivate any account at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service.
3. Acceptable use
The Service exists for personal, non-commercial trip planning. You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the Service, or redistribute its data as a feed or product;
- use the Service to probe, overload, or interfere with the Service itself or with the upstream reservation systems;
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or any administrative function you have not been granted;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
4. No affiliation
Campsite Finder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any state park system, Recreation.gov, any other reservation platform, or any notification provider (such as Telegram or ntfy). All park, campground, and availability data originates from the respective official systems, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In particular:
- Availability data is polled periodically and can be stale, incomplete, or wrong. A site shown as free may already be booked, and vice versa. Always confirm on the official booking page.
- Alerts are best-effort. Email, Telegram, and push delivery depend on third-party services and may be delayed or fail entirely.
- The Service may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including missed reservations, travel plans made in reliance on data shown here, or failed or delayed notifications. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always available on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Contact
Questions about these Terms, your account, or the Service can be directed to the operator at reed@nashvilleaudiovisual.com.
